My real name is Mark Drosos. I am a social marketing, digital media professional and former burrito king. My expertise is leading start-up/growth companies in social media, digital agencies and frozen burritos to phenomenal success.
My teams have taken a company from $60M to $200M (organic growth) in a span of 4 years, produced award winning interactive campaigns, reinvented an online education company into a leading social media company and led an agency to being named to the Inc. 500 fastest growing companies (85th overall in 2006).
I am a frequent speaker, interviewee and writer for iMedia Connection, The University of Southern California MBA program and Destination CRM amongst other media outlets.
While leading a frozen Mexican food company from regional obscure player to the #1 frozen Mexican food company in the nation I realized the power of interactive marketing and social media to help a business grow. After being crowned ‘The Burrito King’ (by friends and colleagues, not the frozen Mexican food royalty committee. Besides it’s a little more catchy than Mark Drosos) I moved to Warner Home Video to lead the worldwide interactive marketing team. And, the journey to social media began.
I had the fortune of working with some of the most viral titles, best interactive agencies in the country and a top-notch, industry leading team while at Warner. After my years at Warner I moved to Austin, TX and put that experience to work leading the interactive marketing & bus. dev. for nFusion, an interactive agency. During that time I noticed the shift and momementum social media was having which led me to the COO role at Powered, a leading social media company that built online communities.
As social media practices matured I was pulled into conversations that were bigger than any one social media point solution. Those conversations and my experience led me to create Lodestone Social Media.
At Lodestone we provide a social compass to extend your brand into the social universe. Our sole purpose is to develop a magnetic brand attraction, a relationship between brands and consumers. Through our ‘Loded Compass’ brand engagement process we magnetize your brand.
